Janet helped nurture and care for babies at Sunny Days Nursery Dorchester, a family business run by David, Joy, Aimée and Nana Janet. The day nursery has a specialist baby unit, which is very popular with local Mums and Dads, to care for their small babies when they go to work. Nana Janet helped Aimée and her colleagues care for up to 42 babies. There are often up to 15 Nursery Nurses working in the baby unit every day. Nana Janet was a respected and much loved member of the Baby Team, fondly remembered for her tender loving care, her cuddles and ability to calm distressed babies, for her marigold moments washing up, her knitted baby dolls, and her endless kindness for everyone. She will be hugely missed at Sunny Days. A special ‘Nana Janet’s Tree’ has been planted in her memory.
