Hey Sue, We are so sorry to hear the sad news that your mum passed away on Thursday. The hurt and suffering this wretched disease causes is something nobody should ever have to endure. We take some comfort in the knowledge that you were able to spend time with her during her last days and that being with her, holding her hand when she passed, gave you both a peace of mind and calm in the wake of her brave battle over the last few months. We only met Janet the once, it was last New Year’s Eve at your house when we found common ground quite quickly in our love of Weymouth and Dorset. Although it was the first time we had met it didn’t really seem like the first such was her nature and friendliness.
